Following the big success of 2014’s festival, expectations are high for 2015 and with two new members of staff on the team, there are more hands to be put on the deck.

The Bike Valley enduro juggernaut is keeping off the brakes, with a brand new event for 2015 scheduled for March 29th. This will be run on completely different trails from any other TweedLove event and will be taking place in a different part of the valley. Chief TweedLover Neil Dalgleish says “We’ve been very keen on a Tweed Valley enduro mini-series for a while and now the time is right. There are so many incredible trails in the Tweed Valley, it seems only right to run another enduro offering a different flavor of the riding here. We’re pretty sure riders will be surprised and very happy about where we take them this time!”

The King & Queen of the Hill race aka Scottish Open Enduro, which was an early sell out last year, will take place on August 23rd. With 500 riders and a huge waiting list, it was won by Roslynn Newman and EWS head honcho Chris Ball, who took the inaugural Scottish Open Champions’ jerseys. Next year’s course again promises a collection of fantastic riding, with some highlights from the EWS next May and locals favourites. King and Queen has always been about enjoyable racing yes there are some tricky sections but we want everyone to enjoy the challenge to the max. The golden rule for trail selection is when you know you just want to get right back up there and ride the thing again.
